Floreid began her professional financial career in 1987 associated with a national financial services company. She is currently associated with SagePoint Financial as an Investment Advisor Representative. Floreid is dedicated to working with individuals, domestic partners, couples and families, as well as small businesses and not for profit organizations. She is a frequently sought after speaker concerning financial investment and insurance issues and concerns.

Floreid uses a thoughtful and methodical approach to develop financial and long-term investment strategies. Floreid assists her clients to (1) identify their financial goals, (2) assess risk tolerance based upon time horizons and previous investment experiences, and (3) suggests strategies to reach financial goals.

She earned the prestigious designation of ChFC, Chartered Financial Consultant, from The American College. Holding her Series 6, 7, 63 and 66 registrations, Floreid guides her clients with their mutual funds, and stocks and bonds investments. She also holds State and National licenses to assist her clients with meeting their life, disability, annuity, and long term care insurance needs.

Floreid holds a Masters Degree in Public Health Nursing from Case Western Reserve University, and a Masters Degree in Public Administration with a minor in Finance from Lewis and Clark College. Her nursing career spanned 25 years in public health nursing, administration, and teaching. Floreid is a self-described life-long learner.

Floreid is a native of Boston, Massachusetts, has lived in Portland since 1974, and has a son and daughter. Her recreational and leisure activities include running, biking, golfing, board games, and traveling. Floreid is active in community services and human rights campaigns, as well as social and environmental friendly sustainability projects.
